"As a Headteacher, I found that for my school to continue to grow and improve, it was essential to have an external adviser linked to my school who knew my school well and who provided high-quality ongoing support. They provided that external voice which challenged my thinking, and also that of all my leaders, including Governors. We needed that external partner who knew the school well, was always at the end of an email or phone, and who signposted us to bespoke support from other external partners with specific expertise. Towards the end of my Headship I lost this high quality external challenge and also that person with wisdom and experience at the end of an email / telephone who knew my school well. This is why I set up Impetus Education Solutions. I wanted to build a team that knew the schools well which we supported. That provides this high quality external challenge, whilst working alongside the Headteacher in supporting their vision for school improvement.
