I am an experienced Assistant Headteacher and English Leader with a strong background in curriculum development across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. I’ve led English provision in multiple schools, with a focus on raising standards in reading and writing through high-quality teaching and subject leadership.

My experience also includes working as a School Improvement Leader, where I supported the development of teaching and learning across all subjects. In addition, I have worked as an English Adviser for the local authority, providing tailored support to schools to strengthen their English curriculum and leadership.

I’m passionate about empowering teachers to deliver engaging, effective English teaching that makes a real difference to pupils’ outcomes.

In my spare time I enjoy fun days out with my young family and at home I like to unwind with a good book!
