Consultant

As a serving secondary Deputy Headteacher with over 13 years’ experience, I have extensive expertise in raising standards, strategic planning, and driving a clear vision for excellence. With a particular focus on the quality of education and compliance, I have led my current school to secure an Outstanding judgement in this area, reflecting my commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement. My career has spanned both pastoral and curriculum leadership, giving me a holistic perspective on school improvement. From shaping teaching and learning to leading on curriculum design, staff development, and capital projects, I have consistently combined academic rigour with a strong commitment to student wellbeing. This breadth of leadership has equipped me to embed sustainable strategies that raise standards and prepare schools for long-term success.

I am experienced in preparing schools for inspection readiness, supporting sustained academic achievement, and embedding strategies for long-term success. My collaborative leadership style has enabled secondary colleagues to achieve excellence through joint planning, rigorous quality assurance, and a shared vision for improvement. I am passionate about developing others. I thrive on empowering staff to grow in confidence and capability, fostering a culture where professional development, aspiration, and mutual respect are central.

I also serve as a trustee for a primary MAT, providing strategic guidance and supporting effective governance to strengthen provision at the primary level. My personal mantra – respect, endeavour, kindness serves as a set of values that I bring consistently to my professional life.
