This session is second of the termly Maths subject leader update meetings, which will take place across the year.
These sessions will include the following:
- Strengthening teaching and learning
- Use of Ai
- Changes to the curriculum in light of new curriculum document.
Iain Gunn: I have been lucky enough to be a head teacher for 18 years. My passion is learning and how to get the most progress possible out of each cohort and individual pupil. I love new ideas that are sensible, workable and make a difference to the children in our care. I enjoy making new initiatives work for each setting. I also like to simplify things so that we remove all the noise around education and just focus on how to improve the life chances of pupils without over working our staff. I also have a real love for maths and still teach a class every day. I think it is vital to keep myself grounded so I practice what I preach.
