This session is the second termly maths subject leader update meetings, which will take place across the year.

The session will cover:
• Relevant maths curriculum updates- including OFSTED feedback.
• Opportunities to share good practice with colleagues.
• Personalising learning in maths- with or without schemes.
• Maths marking- manageable and effective

Further sessions will look:
Combining maths into other subjects in a meaningful way.
Effective monitoring of your subject.

Led by Iain Gunn, Impetus Consultant

Iain Gunn is the head teacher of a Primary School, an Outstanding school in
Brentwood, Essex. He is a former maths advisor who has a passion for teaching and learning. He teaches a math class
each day to ensure that he can practice what he suggests. His main focus is to maximise progress for pupils without
increasing workload for staff.
