I am the Headteacher of Clockhouse Primary School in Collier Row, Romford—a three-form entry school with a 90-place Nursery and a 20-place Additional SEND Unit specialising in ASD. I took on the headship in September 2013 when the school was judged Requires Improvement by Ofsted. I am proud that in our most recent inspection in June 2023, Clockhouse was quickly judged Outstanding.
I have taught across the primary age range and led curriculum subjects across various phases. With extensive experience in school improvement, I have a strong track record of leading a school serving a high number of SEND pupils within a challenging and deprived context. My focus has been on raising standards, developing inclusive practice and building a supportive community where all children can thrive.
In my spare time, I like to read and spend time with family and friends.
