I have 19 years’ experience of headship including 10 years as the Executive Head Teacher of a Federation. I am currently a School Effectiveness Partner for the Local Authority, supporting Schools in Essex.

I have extensive leadership experience in a variety of educational contexts and communities, serving as an Executive Head Teacher in four very different schools.

I am a passionate, creative and innovative leader with 32 years in education; 7 of which I have served as an Ofsted Inspector in the East of England and London until 2020.

I have mentored new, interim and experienced head teachers where the schools have been challenging and often in an Ofsted category. I deliver training and inset on teaching and learning, subject specific pedagogy, assessment and assessment systems and curriculum development.

I have also been a tutor for NPQH where I have guided candidates to attain successful headships.

I am an inclusive yet challenging professional with the intellectual and strategic ability to create positive change and empower others to seize the opportunities presented.

My weekends are spent journeying in my camper van, traversing trails and swimming in open water.
