Tony has a background in finance, has worked in school procurement, and has been a highly effective school bursar.  For the last seven years he has worked in a local primary school. Upon his arrival at the school, he saved considerable sums of money by renegotiating a range of school contracts with suppliers and service providers. During this time he also managed to access County funds to provide an entire new roof and double glazed windows – all at times of austerity.  During his time as a bursar, he oversaw a range of capital projects and was able to manage these from both a safeguarding and practical viewpoint.  Tony’s areas of expertise include implementing and running contracts, identifying cost saving opportunities and best value, and developing and maintaining good relationships with those involved.
