The programme across the year will cover key aspects of Early Years leadership, which includes training on:
- High quality provision and resourcing both indoors and outdoors
- High quality interactions training
- High quality planning and curriculum and assessment
- Implementing the writing framework expectations for Early years
- Ofsted expectations for early years, SDP and SEF.
- Inclusive practice and interventions
- Sharing best practice
Sessions will be interactive and will create an Early Years network alongside high quality training.
Melissa Heatherson – Melissa is a highly experienced and successful educational leader. As a former Headteacher, she led a school from “Requires Improvement” to double “Outstanding,” and has successfully raised outcomes in all national measures and significantly improved provision as an Executive Headteacher. With extensive experience as an Education Director across two large multi-academy trusts, Melissa has supported a large number of primary and special schools (SLD, PMLD, and MLD) for students aged 3-19. I specialise in strengthening EYFS. Melissa has a proven track record of driving excellence in EYFS, reading and English, ensuring high standards and exceptional outcomes.
