Andrew Binnell is a fully accredited External Adviser. He has been completing Performance Management Reviews of Leaders of schools for the past 10 years.
Over the past academic year there has definitely been a real trend towards bringing this review of the Headteacher to July rather than the more traditional first part of the autumn term.
Another development noted over 2015 has been the cascading of the process of utilising and External Consultant to other members of the Senior Leadership Team.
This brings an obvious greater and additional rigour to the process!
