Impetus RQT Training Programme

The Impetus RQT support programme is a structured programme of support for teachers who have qualified in the last 2 – 5 years. The main programme provides support for classroom teaching and subject leadership. Delegates have the option to include additional courses to further enhance their development.

Additional support features available to RQTs:
• Email support to delegates and mentors throughout the course
• In-built opportunities to visit other schools
• Potential personal tutorials from course tutors

Subject Leadership as an RQT

• Modelling the ideal methods and systems for subject leadership
• Methods for monitoring teaching in order to support all staff
• Preparing to speak to Ofsted about your subject
