Sessionled by Janine Blinko

Janine Blinko works as a consultant both independently and with other experienced consultants. She has worked in primary mathematics for many years at many different levels including: subject leader; advisory teacher (ESG funding); deputy headteacher in a large primary school; assessment writer for the National Tests and NfER; senior lecturer, teaching post-graduate trainees, and GTP trainees; author of articles and curriculum materials; CPD provider for a range of LAs and organisations; researcher for QCDA and the NCETM; and a consultant for BEAM Education, Osiris and Smar+. Janine has a particular interest in Lesson Study as a highly effective form of CPD, is actively involved in promoting children's and teachers’ enjoyment and positive view of themselves as creative learners of mathematics, and is convinced that all children (and teachers) can be successful and happy mathematicians.
